Arta's story

Arta is back. She is asking one more time for Kiva lenders' support to buy potato and onion seeds and to prepare the lands for the next season, for her family to continue with the agricultural activity.

Arta does agricultural activity together with her sons and her husband. She has three sons: the oldest ones are 26-year-old twins and the youngest one is 22 years old. They all, time after time, go to work in Greece with seasonal job contracts.

Arta also makes delicious pickled peppers, which she sells during the winter to visitors to Korca city, as well as her white beans and oak beans.

This loan is special because:

It supports women in a country where financing options are scarce.
