Rosesa's story

Rosesa L. is from the village of Letican, Mahinog, Camiguin Province. She is 31 years old and single. To make a living, Rosesa owns and operates a variety store. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes from selling food and other daily used products in the local community. Rosesa has been engaged in her business for over three years and earns approximately 2000 PHP a month for these activities.


In 2010, Rosesa joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Rosesa is requesting a loan of 5000 PHP, which will be used to purchase additional products to sell. This loan will be her first loan from HSPFI. She plans to use the additional revenue to improve and expand her business.
