A loan helped to hire land so that she can improve her farm production and help a woman with a history of valor to support her family.

Alice's story

Get to know Alice, a hardworking mother of six children. One of her children is currently in school. Alice is a woman with a glorious history of valor, perseverance, courage and the ability to overcome extreme adversities. She lives in a small and humble village in the Vihiga area of Kenya. As the key breadwinner for her family, she has been practicing mixed farming for the past ten years. Her primary sources of income have been milk and crops.

Alice is seeking a 55,000 KES loan to hire land so that she can improve her farm production and profits, so she can ensure her child graduate from school. With the hired land she will be able to plant more different varieties of crops. It takes a lot for a smallholder farmer with limited resources to expand a farm business. With your help, Alice will be able to pay the high costs of the farm inputs necessary for expansion.

A significant portion of the profits will be put back into the business to fuel growth as she sets a good foundation for her children. She really hopes for your help and contribution.

Alice is thankful in advance.

This loan is special because:

It finances smallholder farmers to purchase dairy cows, chickens, cereals, farm inputs and farming equipment.
