Sebastian is a 60 year old husband and father. He lives with his wife in the Laguna Chica secotor, a rural area of the Santa Rosa district, 30 minutes from the city of Chiclayo.
Since he was very young, he has worked in agriculture and the raising and selling sheep to survive. He started working as an farm worker and little by little was able to acquire a small land parcel where he usually plants forage (alfalfa) and tubers. He tells us that he can't plant the whole lot because of its closeness to the sea. Its land is salinated and the crops don't survive in that type of soil.
That is why his business of raising and selling sheep is so important. It supplies the income he needs to support his family. He raises the sheep in a corral installed in the back of his house and sells them to dealers who usually visit the area where he lives. The forage he plants is used to raise the sheep.
Sebastian wants to maintain his alfalfa crop to assure good feed for his sheep. This is why he is asking Edpyme Alternativa for a loan of 2000 nuevos soles. He plans on using it to buy foliar fertilizer to fertilize he crop he has planted.
He is a very honest and hardworking man. His greatest wish is to be able to be more successful as a farmer and to get ahead with raising his sheep.
