A loan helped to buy 25 cartons of smoked fish and save to support her children's education.

Zoenabo's story

Zoenabo is a married woman. She has 2 children. She is a street vendor selling smoked fish at a market in the capital and the surrounding neighborhoods. She has been running this business for more than 9 years. It is her fifth loan cycle with Yikri and she has reimbursed her first Kiva loan without difficulties. She is requesting a new loan to buy 25 cartons of smoked fish to satisfy her customers' demand. She intends to use her profits to build a store to store her merchandise and save to support her children in their studies. Finally, she thanks Yikri and its partners for their support towards non-bankable entrepreneurs. Thanks to the Yikri loans, she is able to save in order to take care of her children.
