Mr. Djerry Sidibé is a married man who is 39 years old and has four children. He lives with his wife and children at home in the Torakabougou district of Bougouni (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).
As well as his activity as an accountant in a local company, Djerry also carries out other income-generating activities, notably managing a telephone kiosk. As this business is growing rapidly, he has decided to diversify by buying and selling smoked fish. He has started up this business with a friend.
In order to strengthen his business, he decided to take a loan out from his partner, Soro Yiriwaso, in order to buy baskets of smoked fish. He repaid his previous loan without problem.
He gets his supplies in Bamako (the capital of the Republic of Mali) and often in Mopti (the fifth administrative region of Mali). His customer base is made up essentially of women.
With this loan he plans to make a monthly profit of 52,500 FCFA. This profit will allow him to expand his company, pay the interest on his loan and provide for his needs.
