This group was created in December 2012 and joins in solidarity these dynamic women who all have businesses primarily in retail and in fattening livestock.
Aissatou, standing on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is the group representative. She is 52 years old, married, and the mother of 8 children, 5 of whom are girls. She has been in the business of fattening livestock for several years and stocks up in a town close to her village.
With her new loan, she plans to buy 1 cow, which she will soon fatten up and resell at the end of several months.
With the earned profits, she plans to buy a sheep to reinforce her business.
