A loan helped to buy a cooktop for preparing and selling tortillas.

Santos Edis's story

Santos studied through the sixth grade. She is single and lives with her father who is dependent on her.

Santos has been selling tortillas for two years. She learned this trade from an aunt. Her business is located at her house and she works from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., every day. A nephew helps with delivering tortillas to her customers.

Santos will use this loan to buy a cooktop for preparing and selling tortillas. At the moment, she uses firewood that creates smoke, which is affecting her health. Santos dreams of having a larger business and providing her father a better quality of life.
