A loan helped to buy potato seeds.

Maria Elisa's story

Maria, 34, is a woman with scarce income. She is the mother of four children, and two daughters live with her. Her children are her motivation to work hard in agriculture. She moved to a different address because she was offered a house to take care of which was very helpful to Maria.

She has continued to work with the help received which she has invested in crops resulting in good and bad harvests, but she is a strong, persevering woman who continues working the land.

Maria is applying for a new loan to buy potato seeds so she can continue planting to achieve food for her children.
