A loan helped to buy cabbages, lemons, tomatoes, peppers and eggplants for her business.

Angelica's story

Angelica is a 27-year-old single mother of one child and they live in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Islands.

She runs a small business selling fruits and vegetables, such as cabbages, tomatoes, peppers and eggplants, at the market to earn a living. She has been doing this for four years.

Angelica has requested a loan to pay for additional cabbages, lemons, tomatoes, peppers and eggplants to increase her stock and assist her in maintaining her business.

She plans to use her profit to meet her family's financial needs and improve her business.

She joined SPBD in 2019 to gain access to financial services.
