A loan helped to buy new materials such as cords and accessories.

Waseela's story

Meet again this Lebanese married woman, Waseela, born in 1972 and lives with her husband in an owned apartment in Bekaa.

She still works at knitting wool and crafts and has also worked in mortar since 1997 for additional income. She is asking for a loan again for the second time from Ibdaa, a Kiva Partner, to buy new materials such as cords and accessories to diversify her work and to meet her customer's needs.

Waseela is still very well known in her area. She has wide experience in the art and food preparation activities. All that she is looking for is to ensure better living conditions for her husband and improve her income.

This loan is special because:

It doesn’t require a guarantor, reaching underserved women in Lebanon.
