A loan helped to buy agricultural supplies and pay workers to grow corn.

Graciela's story

Graciela attended school through the fifth grade. She is married and has four children, two of whom are dependent on her. Her husband works as a day laborer.

For four years Graciela has grown corn, a job she learned from her father. She travels 20 kilometers by bus from her house to reach her farmland. She works from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and one of her children helps her.

Graciela needs a loan to buy agricultural supplies and pay workers to grow corn. Her dream is to reap a good harvest and increase her earnings in order to improve her family's quality of life.
