A loan helped .

Zach's story

Even though I live in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area now I grew up in south Arkansas where being poor is commonplace. Being raised in such a poor area I learned the value of growing and preserving food along with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude. I’ve been growing food as long as I can remember and I have no plans to stop.

We decided to move our family to Northwest Arkansas for more opportunities around 2013. We finally made it up here in 2014 to start a whole new life.

We have big plans for the future. We’d like to have our own manufacturing facility on the farm someday so we can just roll over fresh mushrooms from the farm to our kitchen. We want to make an entire line of mushroom based food products and we hope to have them in stores all over the country for people to enjoy the taste and health benefits of mushrooms. Our goal always has been and always will be to enrich lives with mushrooms.

This loan is special because:

it helps a family to grow their mushroom line of products and bring it to market.
