First on the right is Mrs. Son, a 43-year-old Thai woman who puts great effort into life. She lives with her husband and two children: one is 18 years old and the other is 7 years old. She is a poor farmer, so to cover all living expenses and pay tuition fees for the children she works at many agriculture activities, including cultivating rice and breeding chickens and geese. But she could not sell her barn at a high price because nobody wanted to buy it.
This is her third loan with the Anh Chi Em Program and she wants to use a portion of the loan to buy food for chickens and geese. She dreams her children will have a better life by having good jobs with high salaries.
