A loan helped purchase meats, vegetables, and drinks.

Blanca Nieves's story

Ms. Blanca Nieves A. sells street food for a living. She has a snack bar located in her home near downtown El Paraiso.

She is able to pay for 100% of the household expenses with the profits that she earns from her business. She is a single mother with three daughters who are all employed and no longer depend on her financially. She takes care of her grandchildren while her daughters are at work.

Her business has allowed her to help her family get ahead because when her daughters were younger, she was legally separated from her husband, so she had to be both their mother and father.

Blanca states that one of the things that allows her to make such tasty treats is that fact that she purchases high-quality products and ingredients, such as choice meats, vegetables, tortillas, spices, etc. This has in turn allowed her to maintain a solid clientele, thus boosting sales.

She needs this loan in order to purchase more food because she has been getting more patrons lately, and she sometimes does not have enough food to satisfy everyone. She feels very happy because her business is growing more and more each day.
