This group, created in May 2019, is composed of women living in the same town. They are united by ties of kinship and close friendship. Their main work involves farming and raising livestock. They are on their first financing.
Fatoumata is the group's representative, the one standing at the right in the photo with a hand raised. The married mother of five children of whom two are boys, she is a farmer.
With this loan, she intends to purchase peanuts and some fertilizer for her crops. The earnings from her sales will enable her to meet the needs of the family.
