Don Douglas is 50 years old and lives in the neighborhood of Healeah with his wife and children. He has been working several years as driver for a business called “Mi Familia”. In order to improve his home, he wants to make it more dignified. He wants to complete the front part of his house where a wall currently exists, but he cannot finish it because of a lack of capital. He wants the wall raised so that he can install gates. There is already a lot of crime in the neighborhood and he has already had an encounter with vagrants trying to make their way inside. For this reason, he needs to have the wall raised so that he can provide better security for his family. Douglas thanks the Institution for making this possible by providing a loan that will be used to buy construction materials such as stone, sand, cement, welding supplies, and gates. The work can finally begin.
