Fatima del Rosario Ramirez runs a store from her home in the Abraham Rugama neighbourhood. It has been six years since Fatima started her business. She works seven days a week, from 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM. Fatima will use this loan to increase her merchandise. She plans to buy cheezies, tortillas, juice, sodas, biscuits and dairy products.
Fatima is married. Of her six children, three are school age, and she cares for the other three at home. Before she opened her store, she sold corn tortillas, and had to work extremely hard just to make ends meet and care for her children. Now that she has this business, her husband and children can help out in the mornings, while she sells vegetables in nearby neighbourhoods.
Fatima has been working with CEPRODEL for three years, and she's grateful for their help, which has helped her look after her family and her business.
