A loan helped to purchase corn in bulk and she will also get firewood so to be able to stock the inventory of the tortilla-selling business.

Zulma's story

Zulma is single and has two children, ages 4 and 12, who are her dependents. She and her children live in their own house. Zulma makes tortillas to sell. In this way, she can generate income to sustain her household. She learned the trade from her mother and has had her own business for 10 years. She works every day with a schedule of 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.

She will use the loan she requests to purchase corn in bulk and she will also get firewood so to be able to stock the inventory of the tortilla-selling business. She believes that, by investing in raw materials, she will guarantee that she will be able to meet her customers' demands, with which she hopes to generate more income.

Her dream is to give her children the opportunity to improve themselves academically and provide them with what they need to have a decent lifestyle.
