A loan helped to complete the construction of her house.

Somaia's story

Somaia is a hardworking mother who takes care of her two sons and one daughter, who are respectively eight, six and five years old. She works in a sewing workshop to help her husband who is an employee of the Palestinian Medical Relief to afford household expenses.

Somaia and her husband managed to start building their own house in their home city of Jenin and this consumes most of their income; so Somaia thought of taking a $3,000 loan from FATEN to cover the last payment they have to make in order to have the house completed.

The family is hoping to move in to the new house as soon as possible, Somaia and her husband are the ones in the picture above leaving FATEN's office in Jineen.
