A loan helped to buy pots, food containers, and rolls of fabric for her business.

Annie's story

Annie is a 39 year-old woman and she is married with four children. They live in a community in Honiara, the capital of Solomon Island.

She has a small business selling sewn clothes, cooked foods, betel nuts and leaf and cigarettes in her community and at the market to earn a living. She has been doing this for two years.

Annie needs a loan to pay for additional pots, food containers, and rolls of fabric to assist her in running her business.

She plans to use her profits to meet her family's daily needs and pay for her children's school fees.

She joined SPBD in 2018 to gain access to financial services.
