In 2008, Emma joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Having fully repaid a previous loan of 10,000 PHP from PMPC that was used to purchase baby livestock to raise and sell in the future, Emma is now requesting a new loan of 7000 PHP to purchase livestock feed and other supplies. This loan will be her third from PMPC, and she plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
