This committee is called ”Has lo Justo“ ("Have What is Fair"). It has 18 members and is in its fifth loan cycle. They form a group that stands out in their area for being very united and responsible, with great solidarity among the members. They have accumulated savings of 3,575,470 Paraguayan guarani. Each member takes out an amount to use for her particular business. For example, Clotilde Martiñez Quien opened a general store after joining the committee, and it is currently going very well for her. She has many customers, and she tells us that the business has been a great help with her household expenses. Clotilde has several children who help her by working in the store, and thus she can also complete her household chores.
