Lydia's story

Lydia is a married mother of eight children, all of whom attend school. She is a resident of Kagadi, where she stays with her family. Lydia is a farmer specializing in coffee growing. With the money she gets from the sale of her coffee, she caters to some of the needs of her family, like school fees.

She has applied for a loan of 1,500,000 UGX to purchase fertilizers for her coffee farm to increase production. This will ultimately increase her income, which will sustain her children in school.

Lydia is grateful to the lenders for empowering farmers like her. Her future plan is to venture into coffee trading to supplement her income.
