A loan helped to buy agricultural inputs to improve the productivity of his coffee plants.


Isidro Ermogenes's story

Isidro is a farmer with good humor and great vision. He inherited his passion for work in the fields with his parents. His farm is 4.57 hectares with 1.05 hectares dedicated to growing and harvesting coffee with FLO certification.

He lives in an isolated community in Nueva Segovia, Nicaragua where he lives with his wife and five children.

Isidro inherited his plantation 15 years ago. He grows export quality coffee and manages excellent production. As part of the annual improvements on his farm this year he is implementing a nutritional improvement plan for his coffee plants. So he is requesting a loan which will allow him to buy agricultural inputs like calcium, boron, zinc and magnesium amongst others to improve the nutrition on his 1.05 hectares of coffee.

His is his 1st loan from PAC.
