A loan helped a member to buy fish and fishing products.

A.louga Group's story

This group is composed of 17 women who have strong relationships built on solidarity and helping each other. They live in the same village and took the opportunity to join this group of women when it was established in April 2018. They run small businesses.

Mrs. Sokhna (standing to the far right of the photo with her hand raised) is the group representative. She is 47 years old. She is a married mother of five, two of whom are boys. She sells fish and fishing products. She benefits from a lot of experience in this field from having done it for several years.

With the loan, she plans to buy fish and fishing products in the biggest markets in the area to sell locally.

With the profits, she plans to reinvest in her business and start animal fattening, while another part will be for expenses, food, and health.
