Boaz's story

Boaz is married and a father of three children. All of the children attend school. He lives in Bundibugyo Uganda.

He owns a cocoa plantation where he gets some income to earn a living and support his family. He is hardworking and determined. He has also been selling foodstuffs like beans, maize flour, palm oil and cassava flour at a market stall to get additional income for seven years now. He faces a challenge of inadequate capital to fully finance his business.

He has decided to ask for a loan to boost his business by buying more groundnuts, beans, maize flour and palm oil for resale. The woman in the photo is Boaz's wife. They work together to better their family's standard of living.
