A loan helped to purchase vegetables.

Carmelo's story

Carmelo, 50 years old, is married and an enterprising, responsible man dedicated to his work. He lives with his spouse and 3 children in the village of La Cuesta, San Lorenzo, Valle department.

He works buying and selling vegetables. He sells his product as a travelling salesperson from a vehicle he rents. He visits the majority of the neighborhoods and colonies of San Lorenzo and the neighboring villages. Among Carmelo's primary products, green bananas, potatoes, plantains, eggs, and others stand out.

At this time, Carmelo is asking for the loan to purchase a variety of vegetables in general and, in this way, he plans to stock his vehicle with products to satisfy his customers' needs.

Through this platform, he takes the opportunity to thank Kiva and Prisma for the offered support at this new occasion and he hopes to change his life through the loan services.

His dream is to purchase his own vehicle to sell his product.

This loan is special because:

It has a below-market interest rate and is repaid at harvest, when farmers can more easily repay.
