A loan helped to buy a dairy cow to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Aizat's story

Aizat is 34 years old, married and has 3 children. She has a high school education. Since 2010, the main source of income for her family has been from raising livestock and farming. Thanks to her hard work, Aizat has on her farm today 3 cows and 45 sheep, as well as a 3.76 hectare plot of land on which she grows potatoes and perennial grasses.

Aizat has an agreement to deliver organic milk to a local plant for further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Aizat applied for 100,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank after learning that she can receive the loan based on her contract for future deliveries as part of the product "value chain". She will purchase a dairy cow to increase her sales of organic milk. Payments for the milk from the plant will be deposited directly into her bank account and loan payments automatically deducted. The loan proceeds will help Aizat to invest in further developing her farm and giving her children a quality education.
