God's Chosen Ones Group's story

Jackson G. is the leader of this group of five borrowers called God’s Chosen Ones. He is 35 years old, single, and is a high school graduate. He has two children who are 5 and 7 years old and who are in 1st and 3rd grade. In addition to his children, Jackson also supports his sibling. In the photo, Jackson is the one holding the sign.

For six years, Jackson has had a slippers business at the Waterside Market, which is the largest market in Monrovia. He says that he provides high quality service in a friendly manner, which attracts customers.

Jackson plans to use his 14,000 Liberian dollar portion of this 56,000 Liberian dollar group loan to buy more slippers. His goals are to grow his business, to help his children go to school, and to empower other family members as well.
