A loan helped purchase more fish to sell.

Isabel's story

Isabel is 50 years and, from a young age, has not stopped working. She has managed to pay the educational expenses for her four adult children. Isabel currently lives in her own home with her husband Lucho.

When she started working, Isabel devoted herself to sewing. Four years ago, she started a business of buying and selling fish with a goal of opening a clothing store, which is now a reality. Today her schedule begins at 4am when she arrives at the fishing collection center to buy her merchandise before selling it at the entrance of the center. Her husband is in charge of delivering the fish to vending posts in different markets where they have customers. Sometimes she ships her product to other cities. Isabel is very satisfied with her business because it has proven to be profitable and helped her achieve her goal of opening the clothing store where her children are now employed.

This is her sixth loan from MFP. Isabel, once again, promises to make her payments on time because these loans have helped her progress in her business. The money she is requesting will be used to buy more fish to increase her sales.
