Yehya Group is a refugee group which consists of two hardworking Syrian refugee women, Nadia and Manal, where Nadia is the featured borrower. They are working to help their husbands after they had fled to Lebanon due to the war in their homeland.
Nadia is a 41-year-old mother of four children who works in agriculture to maintain her children all needs with her husband who works by polishing tiles.
She got along with Manal to acquire a group loan from Kiva’s field partner, Al Majmoua, to buy seeds and pay for the land warranty fees in order to have her own agriculture business.
The striving woman wishes to have a fruitful agricultural season and a successful business to continue to be able to maintain her family needs.
Manal is the lady on the right side of the picture and Nadia is the lady on the left side.
