Isayana is a 51-year-old woman. She started her business 4 years ago while she worked for a shoe manufacturing company. She learnt how to make them and she liked it, so she decided to start her own shoe business.
She supplies her products to shoe shops, which order large quantities. Her husband is her biggest support, and they both make the most original shoes, which their customers order in advance.
She has opted for a Kiva loan through MiCrédito, which she plans to use to buy leather, fabric, needles, thread, shoe punchers, among other supplies. Her dream is to create her own shoe brand and have her own shop in the future, so that she can supply to more shops, employ more people, and become well-known in the shoe market.
