A loan helped to buy manure and new farming equipment to increase the amount of beans in the next harvest period.

Esperanca's story

Esperanca is 40 years old. She is a single mother of five children.

Esperanca works hard every day to provide a better income for her family. She has a red beans farming business at her village, which she started up with her own capital of $100 and which she has been running since 2015.

She would like a loan of $800 through KIF to buy more manure, fertilizer and new farming equipment with the hope of increasing the amount of beans in the next harvest period.

This is her third [loan] and she is a really good client of KIF because she always pays her loan on time. She has successfully repaid her two previous loans and now she has requested another loan to further improve her business. She would like to thank all the lenders for the opportunity.

This loan is special because:

It provides entrepreneurs in underserved communities with the means to grow their businesses.
