Haoua is the married mother of seven children, aged 5 to 27. Five of them are in school. A merchant in a local neighborhood for fifteen years, she buys grains there to stock up and resell at the right time.
Now on her 3rd loan cycle at YIKRI, she is applying for this loan to pay for 20 sacks of beans to add to her inventory. She will reinvest some of her earnings in her business to expand it and save some for taking care of her children.
