A loan helped to buy fertilizers and composts for her farm, as well as pay for labor to maintain her land.

Nicolasa's story

Nicolasa is 45 years old, married, and lives with her husband in the town of La Flecha, Santa Barbara. She has been cultivating coffee for 10 years. Her farm is located on land some distance away from her house in an agricultural area. The coffee she produces is sold in different forms such as dried beans, washed and wet-processed, and pulped.

Nicolasa is requesting a loan of 25,000 HNL in order to buy fertilizers and composts for her farm. She will also pay for labor to maintain her land, which will help her achieve better production. Her dream is to continue cultivating coffee so that she can be financially solvent and improve her family’s quality of life.
