A loan helped a member to save money spent on fuel and to use the ACE 1 cookstove to gain access to electricity for extra lighting at night and for charging mobile devices.

Noncedo Group's story

Nowenile is a 53-year-old woman married to a 62-year-old hardworking livestock farmer. They both live in a two-bedroom house with their three children and three grandchildren. Nowenile spends LSL 590 every month on cooking gas and paraffin. She travels six kilometres to collect fuel.

Nowenile and the four other people in her village say the ACE 1 cookstove is going to help them save a lot of money that they spend on fuel every month. The ACE 1 clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered. For more information on the ACE 1 cookstove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy.
