A loan helped to buy sweets, sodas, detergents, oil, corn, etc. to sell.

Betty's story

Betty, 44, has a fourth grade education, is in a relationship and has two children who live at home, one of whom works.

Betty has a store at home where she has been selling basic products for 17 years. On weekends she also sells pupusas (stuffed tortillas), hamburgers and sodas. The advantage she has is that there is a soccer field near her home so when games are in session she sells more products.

She needs a loan to buy sweets, sodas, detergents, oil, corn, etc. to sell.

Betty dreams of expanding her business and of her children having good jobs.
