A loan helped to buy rice bran and coal powder, and pay for labour, to produce bricks.

Blandine's story

Blandine thanks the Kiva lenders for their trust and their financial support of her. The previous loan is still allowing her to increase primary materials to produce bricks and pay for the labour costs for 50,000 bricks. The profits from this activity have allowed her to begin pig breeding.

The brick market is sound. Blandine has been in brick production for 30 plus years. Always trying to increase her production, Blandine is requesting a new loan to purchase supplementary materials like rice bran and coal powder, as well as pay for labour.
