Created in February 2014, this group is composed of very energetic and supportive women who are primarily involved in sales and animal-fattening.
Fatou (standing at right in the photo with her hand raised) is 29 years old, married and the mother of one boy. She has been fattening animals for twelve years.
With her loan, she plans to buy two sheep that she will fatten and resell after four to five months. She will use the remainder of the loan to buy animal feed and cover other expenses.
Fatou expects to use the income she earns to pay for those requirements, and her child's needs.
