Azmat's story

Azmat is a woman of age 54 who is involved in a livestock business with her husband at subsistence level. She lives in a small village near Sheikhupura, Pakistan. Her village is surrounded by agricultural land and is an ideal place for agriculture-related businesses.

She and her husband take care of their cows and sell milk in the community to manage living expenses of the family.

She now wants to buy good quality fodder for their livestock to increase the milk production but unable to do so mainly due to financial limitations. She, therefore, has requested for a loan from JWS Pakistan to purchase nutrition- and protein-rich fodder for their cow.

This will help her increase the production of milk and earn a better income.
