Susan's story

Susan is 31 years old. She is married to Billy and together they are blessed with one child who is below the age of 18 years.

She is running the business of buying and selling vegetables. She has been in the business for one year, and she earns an average income of KES 8,000 per month. However, she has applied for her first loan from VisionFund Kenya to enable her to purchase more stock of vegetable seedlings and manure to increase production. With the anticipated profits, she plans to repay her loan and also expand the business.

She hopes in the future to diversify her business to selling fruits also. This will increase her income to enable her to live a better life.
