Sinat Group's story

This group of three members is led by Sinat, who appears the first of the right in the photo.

Sinat, 57, is a married mother of two children who lives in the Kampong Cham province of Cambodia. She is a farmer and has been working with her husband in her rice farm to make profits for support the living expenses for the past 20 years. The couple typically earns around 20 USD per day.

She would like to use her loan share to purchase natural fertilizer and fuel for her farm. She believes these purchase will allow her to increase her crop yields and her profits as well.

In the future, she is going to purchase two more acres of farmland and build a new house.
