Germaine is a 38-year-old mother of 5 children, She is married and lives in Gicumbi community with her husband. She is very concerned about the well-being of her children and always works hard to improve their living condition.
Germaine cultivates and sells vegetables. With 25 years experience in this field, she is constantly challenged by the dry season. Nevertheless, she gradually expanded her business, but her lack of capital prevents her from reaching her sales targets and slows her profit growth. This is the reason she is requesting this loan, in order to buy fertilizers and install irrigation water pipes that will increase her production and sales. The profits generated by this loan will be used to pay for her children's school fees. Additionally, this is Germaine’s 17th loan cycle with Visionfund Rwanda. She is the KABARE 2 group leader.
