Rosario Maribel, 42, is married, and she has four children. She lives with her family in Santo Domingo. The residents of this sector are very hardworking, and they are mainly engaged in selling livestock as well as growing and exporting tropical fruit, bananas, cocoa, pepper, and other products.
Rosario starts her farm work very early in the morning. On her farm, she grows cocoa, bananas, and passion fruit and sells her products at the markets. She also raises and sells pigs. From a young age, Rosario’s husband has been working as a truck driver delivering products to various cities.
She will use the loan funds to purchase seeds and organic inputs for the crops grown on her farm. Rosario’s dream is to buy herself a truck and go to many places to sell her products.
