A loan helped a member to buy wool wholesale for making blankets.

Cariñositas Group's story

The Cariñositas communal group is part of the Agencia Los Andes branch. It is made up of eight members who are friends and neighbors from the area. It is led by a board of directors of which Lucia is the president.

The loan they seek will benefit micro entrepreneurs such as Lucia. She currently has a business selling blankets. She learned this business some years ago.

The loan she now seeks is to increase her capital by buying wool wholesale that she will acquire from wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. She will later produce and sell blankets from her work space. This form of work allows her to generate resources to support her family economically. She is married and has three children. Her goal is to build her own house.

In this group: Marlene, Lucia, Lucia, Rocio, Yesid Angel, Edwin, Margarita Reyna, Silveria
