Joseph's story

Joseph is married with four children, two of whom attend school and is a resident of Mpigi district. He is a farmer with farming skills and experiences acquired right from his childhood since his parents were farmers and shaped him as a farmer too.

Joseph is happy for the existence of Kiva because he was able to dig trenches for his vegetable farm which maintained the soil fertility and brought in good yields that he sold at good prices.

Joseph is requesting another loan of 2,000,000 UGX to buy mulches for his banana and coffee plantations to avoid soil loss in the coming drought season. This will better his yields, that he will sell to raise income to meet the family needs.
