A loan helped to buy fertilizers for the small plantation he restored and is currently financing.

Hector German's story

Hector German is 58 years old and lives in a stable home with his partner and their small children, which he owns and is built of rustic materials and is a single level. He was born at the Alto Dorado farmhouse, and he and his family live in communion with the members of the farm which is located in the district of San Jose de Lourdes. They live with water services.

Hector German works in the cultivation of coffee, of the Catimor variety, which he has done for ten years at the Alto Dorado farm. He has experience in the field of coffee cultivation, and he sells the product to buyers of his and surrounding regions.

The loan will be used to buy fertilizers for the small plantation that he restored with a credit from Agrobanco; the plantation is financed. He will also buy other agricultural supplies that will help to improve his output, given that coffee prices are expected to improve in the coming year. This investment will help him to increase his income, improving the quality of life for him and his family.
