Berthilde has four children. She is a widow who is very committed to the well-being of her family. That is why she works harder daily to improve her family living conditions.
For the past five years, Berthilde has sold orange, bananas, pineapples, and passions fruits. She has an employee and she wants to expand her business. In order to do so, she is requesting a loan. She will utilize this loan to buy more inventory at once from her supplier and be in possession of sufficient stock of fruits for sale.The benefices generated by this loan will be used to pay for her family medical assurance, enough food for her children, to renovate her house, and to pay school fees for her children. Additionally this is her sixth loan cycle with Visionfund Rwanda and she is the Ababerarugo Group leader. Therefore, Berthilde is very appreciative towards the Kiva lenders for offering her this loan.
