A loan helped a member to maintain her cropland.

Financiera Paraiso Group's story

Anita is 42-years old. She has four children. She considers herself to be a responsable, punctual and persistent woman. Anita belongs to the "Financiera Paraiso" communal bank. The bank is made up of sixteen members.
Anita is requesting a loan through Kiva so she can maintain her cropland. She has been farming it for twelve years. She makes her living growing cacao and other fruit. Farming is her means of getting herself and her husband ahead.
In her free time, Anita weeds and prepares other plots of land. She and her husband are looking for ways to save money, make improvements to their home and to purchase plots of land to expand their production.
Anita feels that she sells a quality product at a fair price.
